Mid Week Pennant

What is the Midweek Pennant?

The Metro North-West Region Midweek Pennants are played on Wednesdays from the 3rd July 2024.

The season consists of 6ix weeks of home & away rounds.

Grades comprise players as follows:

• A Grade for 1, 2 & 3 graded players
• B Grade for 4 & 5 graded players
• C Grade for 6 & 7 or ungraded players

Matches consist of 3 bowl pairs plus 2 bowl triples, both 21 ends.

The Finals

Finals are scheduled for 21st August with a lay day set down for the 28th August.

A Grade = 1st past the post declared the Champions.
B Grade = Semis + Final – 21/8/24
C Grade = Section winners play quarterfinals (14/8/24), semi-finals & final (21/8/24). Random draw out of the hat for quarters & semis. Two sides that go straight into the semis are to play each other in semi-final #2, so that no fresh team must play a side that has played in the morning.
