2025-26 Conditions of Play – 26th March Update
Following a two-day workshop with Region Administrators last week and previous correspondence received from Clubs across the State, we are informing you of a change to the Conditions Of Play for the 2025-26 season.
Previously, you will have noted that for the 2025-26 season, Men’s and Women’s Pennant had been mandated to commence at a set time; was to be played mid-week; and, was scheduled to be played at the same time as Open Pennant.
Given the feedback we received from our Region administrators at last week’s conference, it was clear that there is a strong desire from most Regions, for Men’s and Women’s Pennant to be scheduled at Region discretion. We acknowledge this and have listened to this feedback. We have also received feedback from several Clubs across the State requesting the same.
As a result of this feedback, we have amended the 2025-26 Conditions of Play to allow Regions to schedule Men’s & Women’s Pennant at a time that best suits their members and clubs. The following amendments have been made to the 2025-26 Conditions of Play:

Any Region who has already submitted a 2025-26 calendar will have the opportunity to re-submit this calendar because of this change. We request that any amended calendars are received by Wednesday April 16. We value our Regions, and our Clubs feedback. We have listened, and we have acted.
